Studio Practice
STUDIO PRACTICE
New artists welcome! Studio Practice enables participants to learn the foundational skills, essential materials, tools, and most-commonly practiced techniques in the many fields associated with the Decorative Arts and Residential Interior Painting.
Through various activities and projects, participants gain an enhanced awareness of the painting studio environment, and explore their creativity through skills such as glazing, gilding, faux finishing, large-scale painting, stamping, and so much more! Activities may also include guest speakers and job-readiness activities that further prepare participants for employment and self-employment in the Decorative Arts.
Studio Practice is held in person. There are no attendance requirements; attend the sessions that best fit your schedule. Prompt arrival is encouraged.
